On September 19th, 2010, Student Union Executive Committee of Business Administration and International Trade Department headed by Mr Nguyen Hoang Hai - Commissioner of the school’s Student Union Executive Committee, Chairman of the faculty’s Student Association, along with Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh Van (Business Administration and International Trade Department) and more than 50 members of branches, classes visited and presented gifts for Disabled and Orphans Centre in Dong Nai.
Right here, students had the opportunity to meet and talk to Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hong - Deputy Director of the Center to learn more about the disabled and orphans’ circumstances. After the conversation, Ms. Hong guided students to visit the children at the center, give candies, milk and lanterns made by hands of Business Administration and International Trade students (in the lantern making contest on Sept 12th), to help them have a happy and warm Mid-Autumn night.
All of cakes, candies, milk taken from the money raised on the night of Sept 12th, 2010 and one million VND supported by the Faculty were presented to the children. There were also a barrel of old clothes donated by branch 09NT113, and some milk and confectionary from the classes 08QT111, 08QT113, 08LU111, 09QT114, 09QT115, etc…
In addition to students of Business Administration and International Trade Department, there were attendances of some students of LHU Accounting Department, Tran Bien and Nam Ha High Schools. This is a humane and educational social activity helping students learn more, care, share with the community, the disadvantaged and the unfortunates. It also offers students the opportunity to communicate, learn, develop enthusiasm, solidarity and creativity in activities of Union- Association.
