Tran Thi My Ngoc, a member of LHU TEAM 2 shared, “The moment that impressed me the most was when I finished this wheelchair and tried the first tested distance of about 2km. Like the others in the group, I was very surprised when my team awarded the prize. By the way, I would like to thank the judges for giving us a chance to design solutions that have real-world impact for local and global communities. I am delighted because this is an unfinished project that I have carried out since high school, but the level of work was not enough, so it has not been successful."
The team won the first prize and was very proud of their achievements. Through this competition, students can find their passion in learning, research, know how to set up a project, and manage research projects. Besides, students will acquire knowledge quickly by studying theory and parallel practice (Project Based Learning). These topics are efficient and possible to commercialize this product to help people with disabilities and difficulties in movement and living, as the spirit of humanistic philosophy. The organizers highly appreciate the group of students participating in this project, especially students majoring in Automation and Control Engineering Technology, Lac Hong University.
