ABSTRACT:
By using a mixed research method, this study is to determine the factors affecting the decision of individual customers to get loans from the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) - Dong Nai East Branch. Based on underlying theories and results of previous studies, the study proposes a research model and a scale of factors. By analyzing data collected from 341 individual customers of Vietcombank Dong Nai East Branch, this study finds out that there are 7 factors affecting the customer’s loan decision-making process. These factors are Service quality, Brand image, Interest rate, Convenience, Social influence, Bankers, and Lending procedures.
