This is an annual activity of the university in order to strengthen close ties with businesses and its alumni. It is also an occasion so that the university can listen to enterprises’ feedbacks. Many representatives of prestigious enterprises inside and outside Dong Nai province were present at the meeting such as Sanko Mold Vietnam Co. Ltd., Dong Nai Color Rubber Co. Tin Nghia Corp.,  Dong Nai Paint Factory, Dong Nai Industrial and Commercial Bank, Vmep Co., Ltd., D2D Co.,  Ever Tech Plastic Viet Nam Co., Ltd,…

 

 

Since the beginning of 2003, Lac Hong University has been one of leading schools in promoting training cooperation with businesses. Its leaders have defined a detailed plan to build the close relationship. Specifically, the university often sends its staff to learn about labor market needs of companies. After years, many of companies have contacted and sign cooperation programs with the university. Graduates who get jobs immediately make up 95 % and even most students sign labor contracts with enterprises when they are taking internship. This has shown that Lac Hong University has a right decision in speeding up the cooperative relation.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Rector Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan said the cooperation between the university and enterprises plays an important role in helping it improve training program close to practical needs.  She also expressed her wish that in addition to meeting human resources needs of businesses through the cooperation, both Lac Hong and enterprises boost research activities and apply research achievements to production to improve productivity.

Also at the meeting, the university’s leaders sent thank-you letters to representatives of enterprises in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the university. Hopefully, the relation between the two sides will be more stronger and closer.
