Recently, the LHU Management Board in association with the Japanese Cultural Association held a seminar entitled "Japanese business culture" for nearly 200 juniors and seniors of Japanese Studies major.
The seminar was attended by LHU Vice Rectors Dr. Diep Cam Thu and Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, representatives of departments, offices and Faculty of Oriental Studies, speaker Mr. Fumio Okita and a great number of students.

Attending the program, Mr. Fumio Okita provided participants with useful information about business culture of Japan, shared precious experience in business manners. This was chance for all participants to learn and understand more about the beauty of Japan's business culture.
The year 2003 marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam - Japan (1973-2013). Therefore, diverse activities have been held to celebrate the anniversary. The Japanese Cultural Association mentioned the cooperative relation with the University by regularly organizing exchanges and seminars on Japanese culture for students with major in Japanese Studies. In the time to come, the Association expects to open short-term classes for technical students.
Presenting at the seminar, "We had worked with some Japanese enterprises. They said that students of LHU in spite of good qualifications and skills have less knowledge about culture and behavior in Japanese enterprises. This urged me to find out information about LHU. Finally I got an idea of meeting to bring Japanese business culture to students of LHU.", said Mr. Fumio Okita.

The seminar ended successfully at 10:30 a.m. It is hoped that more interesting workshops will be held in the coming time to offer all students good preparations before stepping into Japanese enterprises in the future.
