Start-up Exchange Program with LHU students

In the morning of June 17 at room A 301, campus 1, under the direction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the support from the Southern Start-up Support and Advisory Council and Business Forum Newspaper, LHU successfully organized the program themed "Start-up: 5W + 1H" for youth and students.

Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan - Chairwoman of the Southern Start-up Support and Advisory Council spoke at the program.

This program lying in the National Start-up Program framework and has attracted the participation of nearly 500 LHU students. The program saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Huu Nguyen - Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment; Mr. Bui Duc Trinh - Vice Head of Provincial Youth Committee and more than 20 successful businessmen.

At the program took place the exchange part with guests as typical entrepreneurs They also play key role in career counseling for youth such including Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan - Chairwoman of the Southern Start-up Support and Advisory Council - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Amerasian Shipping Logistics Corporation (ASL Corp.), Mr. Huynh Thanh Van - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Furniture Joint Stock Company, Mr. Ha Huy Cuong - Deputy General Director of ABbank and Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam - Deputy Director General of Saigon Food Joint Stock Company.

Exchanging with students, Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan said "to start a successful career, it is important not only to have a good idea but also to find a good instructor too turn your idea into highly feasible business project".

Distinguished guests exchanged with LHU students.

Dr. Nguyen Van Tan - Dean of International Business Administration Faculty, who has greatly contributed to bridging the program as well as launching start-up activity with LHU students said this year's Start-up program helped students easily access information and interact with guests. The program also offered a great opportunity for youth, union members to exchange with successful and experienced businessmen and learn about the national start-up competition. This was also a place to start and develop creative ideas and products, promoting the movement of start-up, creativity and working spirit of Dong Nai youth in particular and in the Southeast provinces in general, together setting up businesses based on the advantages of the locality, to practically contribute to the development of the country.

Dr. Nguyen Van Nam - Vice Rector of LHU presented grateful flowers to sponsors.

Also at the program, the guests enthusiastically shared precious experience and cleared up the participants’ concerns. The guests also said they together with the Southern Start-up Support and Advisory Council were ready to support and instruct students who wished to start-up businesses with ambition and determination.
