LHU on August 22 held a send-off ceremony for its robot team to compete at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2017. The ceremony took place at the Application and Scientific Research Center - Campus 6, before the participants' excitement and enthusiasm towards the goal of winning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of LHU foundation.

On August 24, the robot delegation of LHU included 13 members (head, instructors and members) set off to Japan. Earlier, the two robots and devices were sent to Japan as required by the Organization Board.
The chief of Rector Secretariat Nguyen Van Hung passed the decision to establish 2017 ABU Robocon Delegation.
This is the seventh time LHU is honored to represent Vietnam at ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest, entrusting great expectation of LHU collective, Dong Nai people, and robocon fans across the country.

This year’s competition theme is “The Landing Disc” inspired from a Japanese traditional game entitled “Tosenkyo”. The ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2017 will be held on Sunday, August 27 at Ota - City General Gymnasium Tokyo, Japan with the participation of 16 teams from countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.
