Robot Contest 2011 will be held in Thailand with the theme "Loy Krathong". Loy Krathong is a Thailand’s tradition aimed to honor the goddess of the river. Activities are held in Thailand on the full moon night in November each year. A "sacrifice" (krathong) is a small boat often made of banana stems cut and their leaves. Loy Krathong placed flowers, candles and incense sticks on his small boats before dropping them into a river and let these boats float in the river. Some elements of Loy Krathong tradition will be adjusted for the functions of robots, creating a real challenge for the young, creative and innovative contestants. All contestants will fully show their abilities in line with the main objectives of this event. That is "A man who wins himself and others wins absolute victory".
